Full arms and full legs, fifty-five minutes, with underarms in the same visit at no extra charge. Nothing is double dipped. A spatula goes into the wax once, goes onto your skin once, and goes into a bin. It never returns to the pot. This is the single most important sentence about waxing anywhere, and it is why: a used spatula carries skin, hair follicle contents and, where a strip has lifted skin, blood, and putting it back in a warm pot puts all of that into the wax that then goes on the next person and on the rest of you. Warm wax is not hot enough to sterilise anything. Folliculitis, and worse, travels exactly this way, and it is completely invisible to the customer. So: a fresh wax cartridge or a fresh sachet of hard wax per customer, opened in front of you. Whatever is left over goes into the therapist's bag and is not carried to the next house. A box of spatulas, used one stroke each. Fresh strips. Gloves. Temperature is checked on the therapist's own inner wrist before it touches you, and again at the first patch on your skin. Warm wax works at about 40 to 45 C. Above that it is faster, it hurts more, and it burns, and a wax burn on a shin is a mark for months. Products: aftercare is fragrance-free by default. Two minutes of cool damp cotton, then about 10 ml of Shuunnya Care Everyday Body Lotion, urea 5.06 percent by assay, on skin that is no longer warm. What is included, and how the wax is handled

Total: 55 minutes. Thick or fast-growing hair runs to 70 and the extra fifteen are not charged.
Areas: Full arms, shoulder to wrist, including the backs of the hands and fingers. Full legs, hip to ankle, including the tops of the feet and toes. Underarms in the same visit, free.
The no-double-dip rule: One spatula into the pot, one stroke onto skin, then the bin. It never goes back. A returned spatula puts skin, follicle contents and sometimes blood into a warm pot that is not hot enough to kill anything, and the next person gets it. This rule is the service.
The pot: A fresh roll-on cartridge or a fresh sachet of hard wax per customer, seal broken in front of you. What is left at the end goes into the therapist bag. No pot is topped up and carried between houses.
Temperature: Tested on the therapist inner wrist, then on a small patch of your skin, before any real stroke. About 40 to 45 C. Hotter is quicker and hotter is also how a shin gets a burn that marks for months.
Technique: Wax applied along the hair growth, strip pulled against it, skin held taut with the other hand. One pull per patch. A second pull over the same skin is what bruises, and where hair is left the therapist tweezes it rather than re-waxing.
Aftercare: Cool damp cotton for two minutes, then about 10 ml of Shuunnya Care Everyday Body Lotion once the skin has cooled. Fragrance-free by default. No hot shower, no gym, no pool and no sun for 24 hours, because an open follicle plus heat is how folliculitis starts.
What the struck price is: Rs 899 is the standing rate for this work. Rs 749 is the opening rate while Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya. A crew with no track record in this district should not charge what a proven one does, and that is the whole of the difference. It is not a countdown and there is no deadline on it.

What is not included, and when we refuse

No bikini, no Brazilian, no intimate waxing: Not offered at all. It needs a therapist trained specifically for it and a room set up for it, and we have neither in Gaya. We would rather say we do not do it than do it badly on the strength of a general waxing skill.
No face: No lip, chin or brow waxing. Facial skin lifts. Eyebrow Threading at Home is Rs 199 and does the same job without taking skin with it.
No back, chest or full body: Not in this booking and not currently offered as its own one.
Hair length: About 6 mm, roughly two weeks growth. Shorter and the wax cannot grip, and the therapist will say so and reschedule at no charge rather than pull twice over the same skin.
When we stop and charge nothing: Varicose veins in the area, sunburn, broken or scabbed skin, active eczema or psoriasis on the area, a raised mole in the path, or any skin that is already inflamed. We wax around it or we stop.
Retinoids, acids and isotretinoin: No waxing over skin that has had tretinoin, adapalene or an AHA or BHA product on it in the last five days. No waxing at all for six months after a last dose of isotretinoin. Skin on those tears, and a tear from waxing scars.
A second person: Rs 749 each as a second booking in the same slot. Wax, spatulas and strips are per person and cannot be shared, so there is nothing to discount.

Who comes, hygiene, and if something goes wrong

Who is coming, and when you find out: You get the name of the person and their photograph on the booking confirmation, before they set off. If a different person has to come, you are told before they leave and you can decline without any charge. Nothing is subcontracted: the person at your door is engaged by Poise At Home, not a partner agency and not whoever was free.
Where we come: Gaya town: A.P. Colony, Rampur, Delha, Chandauti, Magadh Colony, Kendui, Bodhgaya road up to the bypass. Outside that ring we say no rather than take the booking and be late. No arrival-time promise: you get a two-hour window and a call when the person leaves for you.
What is single-use and thrown away in front of you: Anything porous cannot be sterilised, so it is never reused: emery boards, buffers, cotton, wooden cuticle sticks, wax spatulas, threading thread, razor blades, tub liners, sponges and applicators. They come out of a sealed pack at the start of your visit and go into a bag that leaves with the therapist.
Gloves and hands: Hands washed at your basin, then gloves, and gloves changed if the therapist touches anything other than you or her own kit. The bin bag is hers and it leaves with her.
The rework window: Seven days. Patches of hair missed are tweezed or re-waxed free, by the same person, with no second visit fee. Hair that has grown back is not a missed patch, and regrowth at ten days is normal and not covered.
If you burn, bruise or break out: Cool water immediately, we stop, no charge from that point, and we pay for the doctor visit. Spots along the waxed line two or three days later are folliculitis, which is common, usually settles, and is worth a doctor if it spreads. Tell us either way, because it tells us the temperature or the technique was wrong.
If something is damaged or you react: A towel goes under everything and the floor is swept and the sink rinsed before we leave. If we stain a surface, mark a floor or break something, we pay to put it right, and you do not have to argue about it. If your skin reacts to something we applied, stop the session, we stop charging from that point, and we pay for a doctor visit. This is why the patch test on colour is a requirement and not a suggestion.
