The Shuunnya promise

Named actives with their percentages, a plain statement that this does not lighten skin, and an honest admission that the tone change comes from the daily bottle rather than from the afternoon.

  • It evens and hydrates. It does not lighten your skin, and we say so first
  • Niacinamide 4.0 percent at pH 5.8, and it works over 8 to 12 weeks, not one day
  • No hydroquinone, no kojic acid, no mercury, no steroid, no bleach, no D-tan
  • Finished with zinc oxide 24 percent sunscreen, because sun undoes tone work

Details

Sixty minutes for skin that looks dull, tired or patchy in tone. What it actually does is hydrate, take off dead surface, even out the light coming off the skin, and put niacinamide on it. It does not lighten your skin. Nothing in the bag can. That distinction is the whole listing. "Brightening" in the Indian market is a soft word for fairness, and the products behind it are frequently hydroquinone, or an undeclared steroid, or mercury, all of which have been found repeatedly in creams sold openly here. We carry none of them, we will not use one you supply, and we do not sell a fairness product on any shelf in this company. If what you want is to be lighter than you are, we are the wrong booking and we would rather lose it. Here is the honest mechanism instead. The active is niacinamide at 4.0 percent, from Shuunnya Care Light Gel Moisturiser, at pH 5.8, with the raw material tested to under 100 ppm nicotinic acid. Niacinamide reduces the transfer of pigment from the cells that make it to the cells that carry it. It works, and it works over eight to twelve weeks of daily use, not over one afternoon. So the tone change you actually want comes from a Rs 340 bottle used every morning, and this facial gives you a week of better texture, hydration and light reflection while that works. We are telling you the treatment is the smaller half of the answer, because it is. The acid step is the salicylic acid in Shuunnya Care Clarifying Face Wash for Oily Skin, 1.0 percent at pH 4.0, which is 8.5 percent free acid, left on as a short contact. The finish is Shuunnya Care Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, zinc oxide 24.0 percent. That last one is not decoration: unprotected sun undoes tone work faster than any treatment builds it, and a facial that ends without sunscreen has undone itself by lunchtime. Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya and nobody is engaged for this role yet. Bookings open when a police-verified person has passed the practical assessment, and not before. We name a service area and we do not name an arrival time, because we have no crew whose travel we could honestly promise anything about.

  • 60 minutes: double cleanse, short-contact acid, steam, gentle extraction, 15 minutes of massage, niacinamide, sunscreen
  • No hydroquinone, no kojic acid, no mercury, no steroid, no bleach, no D-tan
  • No lasers, no microdermabrasion, no needling, no galvanic or high-frequency machine
  • If your skin reacts to most things, this is the wrong one: book Calming Facial for Sensitive Skin at Home, Rs 1,399, which has no acid, no steam and no extraction
  • Honest trade-off: the visible effect is texture, hydration and light for about a week. The tone change is the bottle, at home, for three months

Product information

What is included, minute by minute, with the actives named
Total
60 minutes, of which 15 are massage. The massage is the part that is usually cut and it is the part you can feel.
0 to 5 min
Skin read in daylight. The therapist says out loud what she thinks the dullness is: dead surface, dehydration, post-spot marks, or sun. They are four different problems and only three of them respond to this.
5 to 13 min
Double cleanse. Shuunnya Care Gentle Daily Face Wash, pH 5.5, twice, about 2 ml a pass.
13 to 20 min
Short-contact acid. Shuunnya Care Clarifying Face Wash for Oily Skin, salicylic acid 1.0 percent at a measured pH 4.0, which is 8.5 percent free acid, left on 3 minutes and rinsed. Dry or reactive skin gets 90 seconds or nothing.
20 to 28 min
Steam, 8 minutes, 30 cm off, eyes covered. Skipped on request or on rosacea, at the same price.
28 to 36 min
Gentle extraction of open comedones only, autoclaved extractor from a pouch opened in front of you, gloves on. Capped at 8 minutes.
36 to 51 min
Fifteen minutes of facial massage, upward and outward, on a slip made from Shuunnya Care Everyday Face Cream. This is circulation and it is why skin looks better immediately.
51 to 60 min
Shuunnya Care Light Gel Moisturiser, niacinamide 4.0 percent, hyaluronic acid 0.5 percent, zinc PCA, pH 5.8. Then Shuunnya Care Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++, zinc oxide 24.0 percent, in vivo tested SPF 52.4.
What the struck price is
Rs 1559 is the standing rate for this work. Rs 1299 is the opening rate while Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya. A crew with no track record in this district should not charge what a proven one does, and that is the whole of the difference. It is not a countdown and there is no deadline on it.
What this is not, what we refuse, and who should book the other facial
It does not lighten skin
Not by one shade, not temporarily, not permanently. Anything that genuinely lightens skin is either a drug, a banned substance, or a device, and none of the three is coming into your house in a therapist bag.
What is not in the bag
No hydroquinone. No kojic acid. No mercury. No undeclared steroid. No bleach and no de-tan. Creams sold openly in Indian markets have been found to contain mercury and steroids repeatedly, which is exactly why the ingredient list of everything used here is already published on its own product page.
We will not use your product
If you hand the therapist a fairness cream and ask her to use it, she declines. That is not a judgement about you, it is that she cannot read what is in it and neither can you.
No machines
No microdermabrasion, no galvanic, no high frequency, no LED mask, no needling, no laser. Devices belong to a clinic with a practitioner behind them, not to a bedroom.
Book the calming one instead if
Your skin stings on most products, flushes easily, has rosacea, eczema or active dermatitis, or has just had a peel or a procedure. Calming Facial for Sensitive Skin at Home, Rs 1,399, has no acid, no steam and no extraction, and it costs more because it is slower and the barrier products in it are dearer.
Book the cleanup instead if
You mainly want the skin cleared out rather than worked on. Classic Cleanup at Home is Rs 649 for 45 minutes and shares four of the same steps.
Pregnancy
Salicylic acid at 1.0 percent as a rinse-off short contact is a small exposure, and we still drop the acid step if you are pregnant, because it is not worth a conversation. Everything else stays and the price does not change.
Who comes, hygiene, and if something goes wrong
Who is coming, and when you find out
You get the name of the person and their photograph on the booking confirmation, before they set off. If a different person has to come, you are told before they leave and you can decline without any charge. Nothing is subcontracted: the person at your door is engaged by Poise At Home, not a partner agency and not whoever was free.
Where we come
Gaya town: A.P. Colony, Rampur, Delha, Chandauti, Magadh Colony, Kendui, Bodhgaya road up to the bypass. Outside that ring we say no rather than take the booking and be late. No arrival-time promise: you get a two-hour window and a call when the person leaves for you.
What is single-use and thrown away in front of you
Anything porous cannot be sterilised, so it is never reused: emery boards, buffers, cotton, wooden cuticle sticks, wax spatulas, threading thread, razor blades, tub liners, sponges and applicators. They come out of a sealed pack at the start of your visit and go into a bag that leaves with the therapist.
How reusable tools are sterilised
Scrubbed under running water, then eight minutes in an ultrasonic bath, then pouched and run through a Class B tabletop autoclave at 121 C and 15 psi for 20 minutes. Each pouch carries a chemical indicator strip that changes colour only if the cycle actually held, and the pouch is opened in front of you so you see the strip. The autoclave is spore-tested with Geobacillus stearothermophilus once a month, because a colour strip proves heat and only a spore test proves the machine kills anything.
A patch on the jaw first
The acid goes on a coin of skin at the jawline for 60 seconds before it goes on the face, every time, even on a repeat customer, because skin changes with season and with what you have been using.
The rework window
Seven days. If the skin is irritated, tight or broken out beyond a normal three-day purge, tell us. We stop billing, pay for the doctor visit, and hand over a written list of every product and percentage that touched your face.
What normal looks like after
Slight pinkness for an hour or two. A few spots surfacing over three to five days where extraction happened. Skin looking brighter for about a week. Anything that spreads, swells or itches is not that, and it wants a same-day call.
If something is damaged or you react
A towel goes under everything and the floor is swept and the sink rinsed before we leave. If we stain a surface, mark a floor or break something, we pay to put it right, and you do not have to argue about it. If your skin reacts to something we applied, stop the session, we stop charging from that point, and we pay for a doctor visit. This is why the patch test on colour is a requirement and not a suggestion.
The honest gap
Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya and nobody is engaged for this role yet. Bookings open when a police-verified person has passed the practical assessment, and not before. We name a service area and we do not name an arrival time, because we have no crew whose travel we could honestly promise anything about.
