The haircut, the beard and the hot towel finish in one sixty-minute visit, because they are one journey and charging three fares for one journey is the only reason they are usually split. The arithmetic is on the page rather than implied. Haircut at Home, Men is Rs 349. A beard shape as its own piece of work is Rs 250 and a hot towel finish is Rs 180. Booked separately that is Rs 779, and it is also three arrivals, three set-ups and three sweeps of your floor. In one visit it is Rs 649, and the Rs 130 is the two journeys we do not make. The cheat this replaces is the doorstep upgrade. You book a haircut, the barber offers the beard, then the towel, then a face pack, then a massage, and Rs 349 has become Rs 900 with nothing agreed in advance. Here the whole thing is one price decided before he sets off, and there is nothing he can add, because he carries no way to take extra money. A new razor blade comes out of a sealed pack in front of you, for the neckline and for the beard outline. Never a second customer, never a wipe and reuse. That is the single most important sentence on this page: a straight razor edge that has been on another face is how a blood-borne infection travels, and it is invisible. The hot towel step uses Shuunnya Care Men's Daily Face Wash, about 2 ml, which is coco-glucoside and sodium cocoyl isethionate rather than a sulphate, with zinc PCA at 0.5 percent. Two towels, hot water at about 45 C, three minutes each. There is no aftershave splash and no talc, and nothing is sold to you at the door. What is included, minute by minute, with the arithmetic

Total: 60 minutes. A long beard being taken down a lot, or a tight skin fade, runs to 70 and the extra ten are not charged.
0 to 5 min: Haircut agreed in guard numbers and finger-widths, beard agreed in millimetres, cheek line and neck line drawn with a finger so you can see where they will sit before anything is cut.
5 to 30 min: Haircut. Clipper on sides and back, fade or taper blended by hand, scissor-over-comb on top.
30 to 45 min: Beard. Trimmed to the agreed length, shaped, then the cheek line and neck line cut in with a straight razor and a fresh blade. The neck line goes at the Adam's apple, not under the jaw, because a line under the jaw grows out looking like a mistake within a week.
45 to 60 min: Hot towel finish. About 2 ml of Shuunnya Care Men's Daily Face Wash, two towels at about 45 C, three minutes each, then a cool towel to close. Floor swept, hair bagged, surfaces wiped.
The sum of the parts: Haircut Rs 349, beard shape Rs 250, hot towel Rs 180. Rs 779 apart, Rs 649 together. The saving is two journeys and two set-ups, and that is exactly what it is worth.
What the struck price is: Rs 779 is the standing rate for this work. Rs 649 is the opening rate while Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya. A crew with no track record in this district should not charge what a proven one does, and that is the whole of the difference. It is not a countdown and there is no deadline on it.

What is not included, and where the line sits

No wet shave: No full cut-throat shave of the whole face. A straight razor over a whole face wants a reclining chair and light we control. The outline of a beard is a short, controlled pass and that is different work.
No wash, no blow dry: The hair is cut dry or damped with a spray bottle. Wash before the barber arrives if you want it cut clean.
No facial, no bleach, no D-tan: Not offered to men or to anyone else at this price, and the bleach and de-tan services sold in most men's salons are hydrogen peroxide and ammonia on facial skin with no patch test. We are not adding that to a haircut.
No beard colour: Beard colour is an oxidative dye on facial skin and needs the same 48-hour patch test as head colour. It cannot be a same-visit add-on and we do not currently offer it at all.
No head massage, no threading: Not in this booking. Threading at home is Rs 199 as its own visit.
A second person: Rs 649 each, as a second booking in the same slot. Two full grooms is about 1 hour 50 minutes and the second one is not discounted, because it takes the same hour.

Who comes, hygiene, and if something goes wrong

Who is coming, and when you find out: You get the name of the person and their photograph on the booking confirmation, before they set off. If a different person has to come, you are told before they leave and you can decline without any charge. Nothing is subcontracted: the person at your door is engaged by Poise At Home, not a partner agency and not whoever was free.
Where we come: Gaya town: A.P. Colony, Rampur, Delha, Chandauti, Magadh Colony, Kendui, Bodhgaya road up to the bypass. Outside that ring we say no rather than take the booking and be late. No arrival-time promise: you get a two-hour window and a call when the person leaves for you.
The blade rule, stated once: One blade, one customer, opened from a sealed pack where you can see it and dropped into a sharps tin that leaves with the barber. Never wiped and reused. This is not a courtesy, it is the only thing standing between a shared edge and a blood-borne infection, and it is invisible to you unless you are shown the pack.
Competence: In-house training on clipper work, fade blending and razor outlines, plus a watched practical once a month. India licenses nothing in this trade, so the monthly practical is the only real evidence and we would rather name it than frame a certificate that means nothing.
How reusable tools are sterilised: Scrubbed under running water, then eight minutes in an ultrasonic bath, then pouched and run through a Class B tabletop autoclave at 121 C and 15 psi for 20 minutes. Each pouch carries a chemical indicator strip that changes colour only if the cycle actually held, and the pouch is opened in front of you so you see the strip. The autoclave is spore-tested with Geobacillus stearothermophilus once a month, because a colour strip proves heat and only a spore test proves the machine kills anything.
The rework window: Seven days. If a cut is uneven, a shape is wrong, a colour has not taken evenly or a finish has not held, the same person comes back and fixes it at no charge and with no second visit fee. That covers our work. It does not cover a change of mind about the shape you agreed, hair you have cut or coloured yourself since, or a reaction to a product you asked us to use against our advice.
If the razor nicks you: It happens on a jawline. The barber stops, cleans it, and there is no styptic pencil shared between customers: a single-use sachet, or nothing. If a cut needs more than that we stop the visit, charge nothing, and pay for the dressing.
If something is damaged or you react: A towel goes under everything and the floor is swept and the sink rinsed before we leave. If we stain a surface, mark a floor or break something, we pay to put it right, and you do not have to argue about it. If your skin reacts to something we applied, stop the session, we stop charging from that point, and we pay for a doctor visit. This is why the patch test on colour is a requirement and not a suggestion.
