Everything downstream is built on this hour. A measurer comes to your home, records the room to the millimetre, and writes down the things a tape measure alone misses: where the water inlet and outlet sit, where the gas point is, which way the window opens, how far each electrical point is from the corner, whether the floor is level and whether the wall is square. Very few walls in Gaya are square, and a kitchen drawn as though they were is a kitchen with a wedge-shaped gap at one end. The cheat in this trade is not the visit fee, it is what the fee silently buys. A free measurement is almost never free: it is a sales visit with a tape measure, the numbers stay with the firm, and when you ask for the drawing you are told it is internal. So the position here is stated in both directions. Rs 500 covers travel and the measuring, it is deducted in full from your order if you place one, and if you never place one the measured drawing is still yours, sent to you, with no watermark and no not-for-construction stamp across it. You may take it to any other firm in Gaya and we will not ask for it back.

The visit: One trained measurer at your home for 45 to 75 minutes, with laser and tape, both used and cross-checked
Recorded: Wall to wall dimensions, ceiling height, beams, ledges, sill and lintel heights, door swing
Services: Water inlet and outlet, gas point, chimney duct route and every electrical point, positioned from a fixed datum corner
Structure: Floor level and wall squareness checked, and the deviation written down in millimetres rather than smoothed over
Output: A measured drawing sent to you, unwatermarked, yours to keep and yours to take elsewhere
Fee adjustment: The full Rs 500 is deducted from your final order value. Site visit, design consult and 3D fees all stack and all come off, once, against your first confirmed order

What Rs 500 does not buy

No design: No layout, no options, no 3D view and no estimate. The kitchen design consult at Rs 1,500 and the wardrobe consult at Rs 1,200 are where design happens
No estimate: You will not leave this visit with a price. A price needs a layout, and a layout needs the design session
Travel beyond Gaya: Free inside Gaya city. Outside Gaya it is quoted before we come, never added to the bill afterwards
Site not ready: We will still measure a shell, and we will re-measure free once plaster and flooring are done, because the finished room is 10 to 25 mm different and that gap is where a wedge appears
Demolition and civil: Removing an old platform, chasing walls, tiling and replastering are separate line items on a quotation, never inside a visit fee

Who comes, and what happens if it goes wrong

Vetting: Police character verification through the local station for anyone entering a home, previous references actually contacted, and any trade licence checked against the issuing register rather than against a photocopy
Named before arrival: You are told the name and phone number of the measurer before the visit, not on the doorstep
Not subcontracted: The measurer is Majestic's own, not a freelancer dispatched by whoever was free. Majestic is a separately owned affiliated business and stands behind this visit itself
Measurement guarantee: If a unit does not fit because of our measurement error, we remake it at our cost, including the delivery and the second fitting day
Not covered: A room altered after we measured it, a wall moved, a window replaced or a floor level raised by later tiling. Tell us and we re-measure free before production
Lead time: Visit within 3 working days of booking at a slot you choose, drawing sent within 2 working days of the visit. We print a lead time, not an arrival time
