Six times eleven thousand is sixty six thousand, plus two thousand is sixty eight thousand, and the seventh foot is another Rs 11,000. A running foot here means one foot of width, 2 ft deep, running floor to ceiling at a height up to 9 ft with the loft box included, in a boiling water proof marine grade board to IS 710, with an 18 mm laminate hinged shutter, soft close hinges, a share of one drawer bank, and internals of a hanging rod and shelves. Built to your wall, so there is no dust gap on top and no dead corner beside it. The two cheats worth naming here are the same two that run through kitchens. The first is board substitution. Carcass and shutter are routinely different grades and only one gets mentioned, so both are quoted as separate lines and the ISI mark and mill stamp are printed on the board face for you to look at the day it arrives and before it is cut. Once a board is laminated its grade is invisible, and after that nobody can settle the argument. The second is hardware. Hinges and channels are quoted as a brand and delivered unbranded, so the maker's name here is stamped into the hinge arm and an unbranded hinge has a blank arm. You can read it on your finished wardrobe. One honest word about sliding shutters, since they photograph better than they live: a sliding wardrobe removes access to half of itself at any moment, which matters most in the small rooms where it is most often chosen.
