The Shuunnya promise

Choose from the material itself, in your hands, before any money is discussed. You leave knowing where the ISI mark sits on a board and where the maker's name is stamped on a hinge, which is how substitution is caught.

  • Free, no obligation, and no follow-up calls unless you ask for one.
  • Boards cut in section, so IS 710 against IS 303 is visible not claimed.
  • You are shown the two checks that catch a substituted board or hinge.
  • Only materials we actually supply are on display, so nothing vanishes later.

Details

A finish chosen from a brochure is chosen twice, once on paper and again in regret. This session exists so that does not happen, and it is free because charging for it would make it a sales appointment. One hour at the A.P. Colony showroom with the materials in front of you and nothing to sign. What you actually do here is the thing a photograph cannot do for you. You look at boards cut in section, so the difference between commercial ply, a boiling water resistant board to IS 303 and a marine grade boiling water proof board to IS 710 is visible in the glue lines and the core rather than asserted in a sentence. You look for the ISI mark and the mill's stamp printed on the board face, which is the one check you can repeat on your own site the day the boards arrive and before they are cut, and which nobody can talk you out of. You press a thumbnail into an acrylic shutter and into a laminate one and find out which marks. You load a soft close drawer and slam it. You read the maker's name stamped into a hinge arm, and then look at an unbranded hinge whose arm is blank, which is exactly how a substituted hinge is spotted after installation. And you look at the same laminate under showroom light and again in daylight near the entrance, because laminates shift colour and a photograph flattens all of them equally. The cheat this session is built against is board and hardware substitution after signing. Once a board is laminated its grade is invisible, and once a hinge is screwed into a shutter nobody looks at the arm again. Knowing what to look at, before either happens, is worth more than a promise from us.

  • Free. There is no paid version of this session and no obligation of any kind
  • Boards shown cut in section, plus where to find the ISI mark and mill stamp on the face
  • Shutter finishes you can press, scratch and wipe, in two lights
  • Hinges and channels mounted and loaded, and the maker's stamp on the arm pointed out to you
  • Small samples to take home, checked against your own wall and your own light, returnable in 15 days
  • Not included: any design, layout, measurement, 3D view or estimate. This is materials only
  • Only materials Majestic genuinely supplies are on display, so nothing shown here becomes unavailable later
  • Majestic is a separately owned affiliated business. It designs and builds and does not manufacture appliances, so there is no hob, chimney or oven on display pretending to be ours

Product information

What the hour covers
Session
1 hour at the A.P. Colony showroom, longer if the showroom is quiet. No charge, and no paid version of this session exists
Boards
Commercial ply, boiling water resistant to IS 303 and marine grade boiling water proof to IS 710, all cut in section, plus MDF and particleboard for comparison
The check you keep
Where the ISI mark and the mill's stamp are printed on a board face, so you can verify the grade on your own site before a single board is cut
Shutters
Laminate, acrylic, membrane and veneer, open to handle, pressed with a thumbnail and wiped
Hardware
Soft close hinges and drawer channels mounted and loaded, operated by you, with the maker's name stamped in the hinge arm shown against a blank unbranded arm
Counters
Granite, quartz and solid surface samples, seen under showroom light and again in daylight
What this session is not
No design
No layout, no options, no drawing, no 3D and no estimate. Those are the design consult, priced separately and adjusted against an order
No measurement
Nobody comes to your home on this booking. The site visit at Rs 500 is the measuring service
No price
You will not leave with a figure. A figure needs a measured room and a layout, and neither happens here
No appliances
No hob, chimney, oven or dishwasher is displayed as ours. Majestic designs and builds and does not manufacture appliances. Anything appliance-shaped in your kitchen is bought in and named on your quotation with its own maker's warranty
No obligation
No fee, nothing to sign, and no follow-up calls unless you ask. Many people take samples home and come back weeks later
Who you meet, and the small print
Who
A Majestic showroom designer, not a commission-only agent. Majestic is a separately owned affiliated business and its own staff run this session
Appointment
Within 2 working days of booking, or walk in during showroom hours. We print a lead time, not an arrival time
Samples
Small samples issued the same visit, free to take home, returnable within 15 days and nobody chases you for them
Your details
We take a phone number so the appointment can be confirmed. We do not pass it to anyone and we do not call about it afterwards unless you ask
Next step
A kitchen or wardrobe design consult, if and when you want one. Nothing about this session commits you to booking it
