The Shuunnya promise

Fipronil 0.05 percent gel and a named spray where gel will not go, with the concentration, the dose and every placement point on your card. If it is not named, you cannot check the re-entry period.

  • Fipronil 0.05 percent gel, 20 to 30 g across 40 to 60 points, 2 BHK.
  • Every product, concentration and placement point written on your card.
  • Re-entry stated: 4 hours, 6 for infants, pregnancy, cats and fish.
  • No kill percentage and no elimination claim, because neither is true.

Details

Rs 1,499 treats a home up to 2 BHK for cockroaches, ants and general crawling insects, and includes one follow-up visit at 21 days to break the breeding cycle. A 3 BHK is Rs 1,999, and beyond that Rs 500 per further bedroom. The chemical is named here because almost nobody names it, and the reason nobody names it is that once you know what is in the sprayer you can ask whether a re-entry period applies. The main treatment is a fipronil 0.05 percent weight-for-weight cockroach gel bait, placed at travel and harbourage points, in cabinet corners, hinge recesses, behind the sink, along skirting, roughly 20 to 30 grams across 40 to 60 placement points for a 2 BHK. Gel is not a spray and it is why the kitchen stays usable. Where gel will not work, in drains, ducts and wall cavities, we use a targeted spray of imidacloprid 30.5 percent SC diluted to about 0.03 percent, or cypermethrin 10 percent EC diluted to 0.05 percent, about 3 to 5 litres of made-up solution for a 2 BHK. Product name, concentration, dilution and every placement point go on the job card, with the label copy. Safety, stated plainly rather than buried. A gel-only treatment needs no vacating and the kitchen is usable that evening. Where spray is used, keep that room closed and then ventilate it for 4 hours before re-entry. Children under two and anyone pregnant should stay out for 6 hours. Cover aquariums and switch the air pump off for 6 hours, because pyrethroids are extremely toxic to fish. Cats are unusually sensitive to pyrethroids, so keep cats out for 6 hours and off treated surfaces until dry, and take birds out of the room entirely. And the claim we will not make: no percentage kill, no elimination. Cockroach control is a cycle rather than an event, activity normally falls over 7 to 14 days as the gel works through the colony, and the 21 day follow-up exists precisely because one visit is not the answer.

  • We publish where we work, not how fast we get there. The Gaya crew is being stood up person by person and a response time we cannot hold is worth less to you than the silence.

Product information

What is included, and what is in the sprayer
Coverage
Up to 2 BHK for Rs 1,499. A 3 BHK is Rs 1,999, and Rs 500 per further bedroom. Cockroaches, ants and general crawling insects
Survey
A walk through to find harbourage and travel points before anything is applied, so the treatment goes where the insects are rather than everywhere
Gel
Fipronil 0.05 percent weight-for-weight cockroach gel bait, about 20 to 30 grams across 40 to 60 placement points for a 2 BHK: cabinet corners, hinge recesses, behind the sink, along skirting
Spray, where gel will not work
Imidacloprid 30.5 percent SC diluted to about 0.03 percent, or cypermethrin 10 percent EC diluted to 0.05 percent, about 3 to 5 litres of made-up solution, in drains, ducts and wall cavities only
Written down
Product name, concentration, dilution and every placement point on your job card, with the label copy left with you
Follow-up
One visit at 21 days included in the price, to catch the generation that hatches after the first treatment
Time on site
45 to 75 minutes for a 2 BHK
Safety, and what is not included
Re-entry
Gel only needs no vacating and the kitchen is usable that evening. Where spray is used, keep the room closed and then ventilate 4 hours before re-entry
Children and pregnancy
Children under two and anyone pregnant should stay out of a sprayed room for 6 hours
Fish, cats and birds
Cover aquariums and switch the air pump off for 6 hours, because pyrethroids are extremely toxic to fish. Cats are unusually sensitive to pyrethroids, so keep them out for 6 hours and off treated surfaces until dry. Take birds out of the room entirely
Other pests
Termites are a different chemical and method on their own page. Bed bugs are Rs 2,499. Rodents are Rs 1,299 with baiting stations. Mosquito fogging and wood borer are quoted separately
Not a clean
This is a treatment. A kitchen or home deep clean is a separate booking, and it is better done before a treatment than after, so the gel is not wiped away
No efficacy claim
No percentage kill and no elimination is claimed. Activity normally falls over 7 to 14 days as the gel works through the colony, and control is a cycle rather than an event
Who comes, and what happens if it goes wrong
Vetting
Police verification through the local station for anyone entering a home, references from previous work actually contacted, and a trade test plus supervised jobs before the person carries a booking alone. A licence, where the trade has one, is checked against the issuing register and not against a photocopy.
Licence
Pest control is licensed work. A Pest Control Operator licence under the Insecticides Act 1968 and the Insecticides Rules 1971 is issued by the State Licensing Authority, and we check it against the issuing register rather than a photocopy. Every product used carries its own registration under section 9(3) of the same Act, and the label copy is left with you.
Employed or engaged
At launch the tradesperson may be engaged through our partner network rather than salaried. We say that plainly because the common cheat is a platform that advertises its own crew and dispatches whoever is free. The verification, the method, the checklist and the bill for a redo are ours either way.
Named before arrival
You are told the name of the person assigned and which trade licence they carry when the job is assigned, which may be shortly before the visit rather than days ahead.
Service area
Gaya town and up to 10 km beyond the municipal limit. A booking outside that area is refused at checkout rather than accepted and then missed.
Rework window
90 days from the treatment date. A free revisit if activity returns inside the window, in addition to the 21 day follow-up that is already in the price
Not covered
A different pest from the one treated, reinfestation from a neighbouring flat or a shared drain we have no access to, and a treatment wiped away by cleaning
Gel points
The operator will show you where every gel point is. Keep children and pets away from them for 24 hours, and do not wipe them off, because a wiped point is a point that does nothing
Damage
Gel and spray staining on a surface caused by our application is our cost to put right, and we patch-test anything absorbent before applying near it
