The Shuunnya promise
Rs 249 is diagnosis and a written price, adjusted in full if you proceed. We will not fit a bigger MCB to silence a nuisance trip, because that is not a repair.
- Rs 249 buys travel, diagnosis and a written price. Not a repair.
- Adjusted in full against the job the moment you approve it.
- Wireman permit checked against the issuing register, not a photocopy.
- No oversized MCB fitted to hide a fault. We quote the real one.

Details
Rs 249 buys travel, the time to find the actual fault, and a written price. It is not the price of a repair, and this page says so because most of the trade does not. The low advertised number is a door-opening fee: the electrician arrives, and the bill is Rs 900 by the time he leaves. So the rule here is that the Rs 249 comes off the job in full the moment you approve the work on that visit, and if you decline you pay Rs 249, keep the written quote and take it wherever you like. Two things are done inside the visit at no extra charge: tightening loose terminations at one board or point, and testing earth continuity at up to three sockets with the reading written down for you. Realistic totals for the four faults that follow this visit most often, with the Rs 249 already deducted. A fan that hums but will not start is almost always the capacitor, Rs 60 to Rs 150 for the part, so Rs 249 to Rs 400 all in. A dead switch or socket is Rs 150 of labour per point after the first plus Rs 60 to Rs 350 for the module, so Rs 400 to Rs 800. A tripping MCB is Rs 250 of labour plus Rs 200 to Rs 600 for the MCB, and the honest part is that a repeatedly tripping MCB is usually reporting a real fault rather than being faulty itself. And tracing a dead circuit or an earth fault is Rs 600 to Rs 1,500 depending on how much of the run has to be opened.
- Rs 249 is a call-out and diagnosis charge, adjusted in full against the job if you approve it on the visit
- Decline and you pay Rs 249 and nothing else, and the written quote is yours
- Loose terminations tightened and earth continuity read at up to three sockets inside the visit, readings written down
- Parts are charged at the printed MRP on the box and never above it, the box and the bill are left with you, and there is no handling charge on top. You may also buy the part yourself and we will fit it, and the labour price does not change.
- Not included: parts, new wiring points, chasing and making good, earth pit work, and anything on the supply side of the meter, which belongs to the distribution company and is an offence to touch
- We will not fit a larger MCB to stop a nuisance trip. That is not a repair, it is arranging a fire, and we will say so and quote the real fault instead
- 30 days on the workmanship of anything repaired during the visit
- The Gaya roster is being built, so this page names a service area and no arrival time. There is no crew size printed here, no response-time promise and no arrival window, because we would be inventing all three.

What is not included
- Parts
- Parts are charged at the printed MRP on the box and never above it, the box and the bill are left with you, and there is no handling charge on top. You may also buy the part yourself and we will fit it, and the labour price does not change.
- New points
- A new wiring point is Rs 450 to Rs 900 depending on the run and whether it is surface casing or chased
- Civil work
- Chasing, filling, plastering and making good are quoted separately and never assumed
- Earth pit
- A new earth pit is Rs 3,500 to Rs 6,500 and is its own job. We will test what you have and tell you the reading first
- Supply side
- The meter, the service cable and anything before the meter belong to the distribution company. We do not touch them, and neither should anyone else
- A false fix
- We will not fit an oversized MCB to stop a nuisance trip, and we will not bypass an RCCB to make a fault go away
Who comes, and what happens if it goes wrong
- Vetting
- Police verification through the local station for anyone entering a home, references from previous work actually contacted, and a trade test plus supervised jobs before the person carries a booking alone. A licence, where the trade has one, is checked against the issuing register and not against a photocopy.
- Licence
- Electrical work is one of the few home trades that does carry a real licence. A wireman permit and a contractor licence are issued by the Electrical Inspectorate, Government of Bihar, and we check them against the issuing register rather than against a photocopy, because a photocopy is what a lapsed licence looks like.
- Employed or engaged
- At launch the tradesperson may be engaged through our partner network rather than salaried. We say that plainly because the common cheat is a platform that advertises its own crew and dispatches whoever is free. The verification, the method, the checklist and the bill for a redo are ours either way.
- Named before arrival
- You are told the name of the person assigned and which trade licence they carry when the job is assigned, which may be shortly before the visit rather than days ahead.
- Service area
- Gaya town and up to 10 km beyond the municipal limit. A booking outside that area is refused at checkout rather than accepted and then missed.
- Rework window
- 30 days on the workmanship of anything repaired during the visit. A return inside the window carries no second call-out charge
- Not covered
- A different fault on a different circuit, an appliance fault rather than a wiring fault, and anything altered by someone else after we left
- Damage
- Damage caused by our tool or our hand is repaired at our cost. Old brittle wiring can crack at the insulation when it is moved, and we photograph and show you that condition before touching it
