The Shuunnya promise

Jets cleared and the air mix set until every burner runs a clean blue cone, with every joint soap-tested in front of you. The regulator belongs to your distributor and we will not touch it.

  • Rs 449 up to four burners, Rs 349 for a fifth or a second appliance.
  • Every joint from regulator to appliance soap-tested while you watch.
  • Hose checked against its printed expiry, IS 9573 Type 2 if replaced.
  • The regulator and cylinder are your distributor property. We do not touch them.

Details

Rs 449 services a hob or stove of up to four burners. A five-burner hob, or a second appliance in the same visit, is Rs 349. Burner caps and heads come off and are de-choked, the jets and nozzles are cleared, the air and gas mix is set until every burner runs a clean blue cone rather than the lazy yellow tip that means it is running rich, the ignition electrodes are cleaned and their gap set, the valves and knobs are greased, the glass or steel top and drip trays are cleaned, and every joint from the regulator to the appliance is soap-tested for a leak in front of you. Two things about this job are worth being blunt about. First, the flame. A yellow, lifting or noisy flame is almost always a choked jet or a wrong air setting, and it is fixed on this visit. It is very rarely a bad cylinder, which is the diagnosis people are given because it moves the problem somewhere else. Second, the regulator. Under the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation of Supply and Distribution Order 2000, the regulator and the cylinder belong to your gas distributor, not to you and not to us. We will test the connection and tell you if the regulator is at fault, and then we will tell you to call your distributor. We will not replace it, adjust it or tamper with it, and anyone who offers to at your door is doing something they are not entitled to do. The hose is different and it is ours to deal with: an LPG hose to IS 9573 Type 2 carries a printed expiry, we check it, and where it is past date or perished we replace it at Rs 180 to Rs 350.

  • Not included: automatic ignition PCB at Rs 600 to Rs 1,600, glass top replacement, brass burner replacement at Rs 250 to Rs 700 each, the regulator, and any work on the cylinder
  • Parts are charged at the printed MRP on the box and never above it, the box and the bill are left with you, and there is no handling charge on top. You may also buy the part yourself and we will fit it, and the labour price does not change.
  • 90 days on the workmanship. If a burner we set goes yellow again inside the window, the revisit costs nothing
  • What is missing from this page is deliberate: no arrival window, no crew size, no turnaround promise. Those come from a roster that is still being built, and printing them early is how this trade starts lying.

Finishing
Valves and knobs greased, drip trays and the glass or steel top cleaned, pan supports refitted square
What is not included
The regulator and cylinder
Under the LPG Regulation of Supply and Distribution Order 2000 both belong to your distributor. We test the connection and tell you if the fault is there, and then you call them. We will not replace, adjust or tamper with either
Electronics
An automatic ignition PCB is Rs 600 to Rs 1,600, quoted separately
Major parts
Glass top replacement, and brass burner replacement at Rs 250 to Rs 700 each. Parts are charged at the printed MRP on the box and never above it, the box and the bill are left with you, and there is no handling charge on top. You may also buy the part yourself and we will fit it, and the labour price does not change.
Piped gas
Work on a piped natural gas line belongs to the supplying utility and its authorised contractor, and we will not do it
Built-in ovens
A built-in oven or a gas oven cavity is quoted separately, because it is not the appliance priced here
A cylinder diagnosis
We will not tell you your cylinder is bad to explain away a choked jet. If the flame is wrong, the reason goes on the card
Who comes, and what happens if it goes wrong
Vetting
Police verification through the local station for anyone entering a home, references from previous work actually contacted, and a trade test plus supervised jobs before the person carries a booking alone. A licence, where the trade has one, is checked against the issuing register and not against a photocopy.
Qualification
There is no statutory licence for servicing a domestic gas hob in India, and we will not invent one. What exists is the trade licence, the police verification and our own trade test. The regulator and the cylinder are a different matter and belong to your distributor, and we do not touch either.
Employed or engaged
At launch the tradesperson may be engaged through our partner network rather than salaried. We say that plainly because the common cheat is a platform that advertises its own crew and dispatches whoever is free. The verification, the method, the checklist and the bill for a redo are ours either way.
Named before arrival
You are told the name of the person assigned and which trade licence they carry when the job is assigned, which may be shortly before the visit rather than days ahead.
Service area
Gaya town and up to 10 km beyond the municipal limit. A booking outside that area is refused at checkout rather than accepted and then missed.
Rework window
90 days on the workmanship. If a burner we set runs yellow again inside the window, the revisit costs nothing and carries no second call-out charge
Not covered
A part failing on its own, a fault in the regulator or cylinder which is your distributor to fix, and an appliance opened by someone else
Refusal
Where we find a leak we cannot safely make good, we shut the appliance off, write it on the card and tell you not to use it. That is not an upsell and there is no charge attached to it
Damage
Damage caused by our tool or our hand is repaired at our cost. A toughened glass top can fail from an existing chip when heated or handled, and we photograph any chip before starting
