Details
Seventy-five minutes with a registered dietitian, in your house, with your kitchen open and your family's actual food on the table. The consultation that ends in a supplement box is the cheat. You pay for an hour, you leave with a Rs 4,000 box of powders, and the powders were the business the whole time. Nothing is sold here. The dietitian carries no product, earns no commission on anything in the Shuunnya store, and if a supplement is genuinely indicated she names the compound and the dose and tells you to buy it wherever it is cheapest. There is no detox and there is no forbidden list. Your liver and kidneys do the detoxing and they do not need juice. And a plan that bans rice from a Bihari kitchen is a plan that lasts nine days. The work here is portion, pairing, timing and cooking method inside the food your household already cooks, because the only diet that does anything is the one still running in month six. She does not promise kilos. Not five in a month, not ten by a wedding. She will tell you what a realistic rate of change looks like and what it depends on, and she will not put a number on your future to close a booking. She is not a doctor. She does not diagnose, does not order tests and does not change your medication. She reads the reports you already have, works with them, and writes to your doctor where the two need to agree, which matters most in diabetes, kidney disease and pregnancy. Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya and nobody is engaged for this role yet. Bookings open when a police-verified person has passed the practical assessment, and not before. We name a service area and we do not name an arrival time, because we have no crew whose travel we could honestly promise anything about.
- 75 minutes: history and 24-hour recall 30, the kitchen 15, the plan built with you 25, questions 5
- What is looked at: what you actually ate yesterday, who cooks, when meals happen, what is in the shelves and the fridge, the oil and how much of it, what the children eat, what the budget is
- You leave with a written plan in your own foods, portion sizes in katoris and rotis rather than grams, and a shopping list
- Follow-up is Rs 1,200 again, the same as this. There is no package and no discounted block, and if you do not need one she says so
Product information
What is included, and what actually gets looked at
- Total
- 75 minutes at home. At home on purpose: the kitchen answers questions that a clinic conversation cannot.
- 0 to 30 min
- History and a 24-hour recall. Everything you ate yesterday, in order, with quantities, including the tea, the sugar in it and the two biscuits. Then the week around it: who cooks, when meals land, shift work, travel, eating out, fasting days, and what your medical reports say.
- 30 to 45 min
- The kitchen. Shelves, fridge, the oil tin and roughly how fast it empties, the atta, the snack shelf, what the children eat. This is the part no clinic consultation can do and it is why the visit is at home.
- 45 to 70 min
- The plan, built with you at the table rather than handed over. Portions in katoris, rotis and glasses, not grams. Cooking method, oil quantity, meal timing, what to pair with what, and what to do on the days the plan will not survive.
- 70 to 75 min
- Questions, and the one change to start with this week. One, not eleven.
- What you keep
- A written plan in your own foods, portion sizes, a shopping list, and a note to your doctor where one is needed.
- Follow-up
- Rs 1,200, the same price, whenever you want one. Usually useful at four to six weeks. There is no package, no discounted block of three, and she will tell you if you do not need another.
- What the struck price is
- Rs 1440 is the standing rate for this work. Rs 1200 is the opening rate while Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya. A crew with no track record in this district should not charge what a proven one does, and that is the whole of the difference. It is not a countdown and there is no deadline on it.
What is not sold, not claimed, and not done
- Nothing is sold
- No protein powder, no meal replacement, no fat burner, no multivitamin, no herbal mix, no branded diet plan. She earns no commission on anything in the Shuunnya store. If a supplement is genuinely indicated, she names the compound and the dose and tells you to buy it wherever it is cheapest, including not from us.
- No detox, no cleanse
- No juice fasts, no detox teas, no cleanse protocols. The liver and kidneys already do this and a plan that claims otherwise is selling a story.
- No forbidden foods
- Rice is not banned in a Bihari kitchen. Nor is ghee, nor sweets at a festival. The work is quantity, timing, pairing and cooking method, because a plan you abandon in week two changes nothing.
- No promise of kilos
- No target weight by a date, no before-and-after, no guaranteed inches. She will tell you what a realistic rate of change is and what it depends on, and that is the honest version of the same conversation.
- She is not a doctor
- No diagnosis, no prescriptions, no ordering of tests, no adjusting insulin or thyroid medication. She works from reports you already have and writes to your doctor where the plan and the medicine need to agree.
- Where a doctor comes first
- Uncontrolled diabetes, kidney disease, an eating disorder, pregnancy with complications, or a child not gaining weight. She will still see you, and she will say plainly that the doctor leads and she follows.
- At the space instead
- Nutrition Consultation at the Space, A.P. Colony, is Rs 999 for 60 minutes. It is Rs 201 less and fifteen minutes shorter, and it cannot look at your kitchen, which is most of what you are paying the difference for.
Who comes, and if something goes wrong
- Who a dietitian here has to be
- The Registered Dietitian credential awarded by the Indian Dietetic Association, verified with the association rather than accepted as a photocopy, on top of a postgraduate qualification in food and nutrition or dietetics. Nutritionist is not a protected word in India and anyone may use it, so the RD is the bar we hold and we would rather name it than say wellness expert.
- Who is coming, and when you find out
- You get the name of the person and their photograph on the booking confirmation, before they set off. If a different person has to come, you are told before they leave and you can decline without any charge. Nothing is subcontracted: the person at your door is engaged by Poise At Home, not a partner agency and not whoever was free.
- Where we come
- Gaya town: A.P. Colony, Rampur, Delha, Chandauti, Magadh Colony, Kendui, Bodhgaya road up to the bypass. Outside that ring we say no rather than take the booking and be late. No arrival-time promise: you get a two-hour window and a call when the person leaves for you.
- Privacy
- What is in your kitchen and what your reports say does not leave the visit. Notes are written for you, not for a file that gets used for anything else.
- A woman dietitian
- Ask at booking and you get one, or you are told before the slot is confirmed.
- If the consultation was poor
- Tell us within seven days. If you did not leave with a written plan, or the visit ran under an hour, it is redone at no charge by a different dietitian and the first fee is refunded.
- If the plan is not working
- Say so at four weeks rather than at four months. A plan that is not being followed is a plan built wrong, not a person failing, and rebuilding it is the follow-up appointment doing its job.
- The honest gap
- Poise At Home is being stood up in Gaya and nobody is engaged for this role yet. Bookings open when a police-verified person has passed the practical assessment, and not before. We name a service area and we do not name an arrival time, because we have no crew whose travel we could honestly promise anything about.
