The Shuunnya promise

Twenty minutes written down as a number rather than left to the queue, no test that would not change the answer, and nobody here earning a rupee on a referral.

  • Twenty scheduled minutes. An overrun costs you nothing extra
  • No commission on any referral, no target on any panel
  • One follow-up within 10 days sits inside this fee
  • No practitioner is in post yet, and the page says so

Details

A consultation of twenty scheduled minutes. The number is the point of this listing. The defining cheat of Indian private consultation is not the fee, it is the clock. A consultation is advertised at a price and never at a duration, and what arrives is a ninety second history, a glance, and a slip with four medicines on it. Nothing was lied about. Nothing was stated either. So the duration is stated here, and it is twenty minutes of one practitioner's attention, not twenty minutes of waiting followed by four minutes of talking. If it runs over because the problem needs it, it runs over, and there is no second fee. Slots are spaced so an overrun is absorbed rather than passed down the queue. If it finishes in twelve minutes because twelve is genuinely enough, you are not kept back to fill the slot. Nobody here is paid for ordering a test or for sending you anywhere. No commission on a referral, no target on a panel, no revenue share with any laboratory, imaging centre or hospital. That matters more than an accreditation, because an accreditation says the machine was right and says nothing about why the test was asked for. Vitals Clinic at A.P. Colony is not open. There is no practitioner in post, no premises registration and no appointment book, and this page does not pretend otherwise. What is written here is the specification: the qualification the role requires, the register the person must appear on, and the licence the premises must hold. Booking opens when those exist, and not before.

  • Twenty scheduled minutes with one practitioner, history and examination, not a glance
  • Printed prescription in generic names, legible, with the reason written beside each medicine
  • One follow-up within 10 days is inside this fee, so the same matter is not billed twice
  • No test ordered that would not change what you are told to do, and the price of any test said before it is ordered
  • Medicines are not dispensed here and cannot be. No drug licence is held, so there is nothing to sell you and nothing to mark up
  • The role requires MBBS with current State Medical Council registration, checked against the National Medical Register
  • Your record is yours. A copy on request, at any time, without asking why

Product information

What is included, and what is not
Consultation time
20 scheduled minutes with one practitioner
If it runs over
It runs over. No second fee, and no charge for the extra minutes. Slots are spaced to absorb it
If it finishes early
You leave. You are not held back to fill a slot that was sold by the minute
Included
History, examination, a written explanation in plain words, and a printed prescription
Prescription
Printed, legible, generic names, with the reason for each medicine written beside it. Professional conduct regulations already require legibility and generic naming, and most prescriptions ignore both
Follow-up
One follow-up consultation within 10 days on the same matter, inside this fee. It is not a discount, it is a refusal to bill the same problem twice
NOT included, tests
Blood tests, ECG and any imaging are charged separately at the listed price. The price is told to you before the test is ordered, never after it is done
NOT included, medicines
Nothing is dispensed here. No drug licence is held, so there is no in-house pharmacy, nothing to sell you and nothing to mark up. Buy from any pharmacy
NOT included, procedures
Injection, dressing and minor procedures are separately listed and separately charged
Not for
Emergencies. Chest pain, breathlessness, a fit, heavy bleeding or a serious injury need a hospital, not a booked slot
Referral and commission
No commission on a referral, no target on any panel, and no revenue share with any laboratory, imaging centre or hospital. A test is asked for when the answer would change what you are told to do, and not otherwise
Who provides it, and what registration that requires
The qualification the role requires
MBBS from a medical college recognised by the National Medical Commission, with current registration on a State Medical Council register
How that is verified
Against the National Medical Register entry itself, not against a photocopy or a framed certificate. A degree that cannot be found on the register is not a degree we accept
Who is in post today
Nobody. No doctor has been appointed, and nothing on this page should be read as describing a person who is already seeing patients here
The premises licence
Registration under the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act 2010. Not yet granted
When this can be delivered
When a registered practitioner is appointed and the premises registration under the Clinical Establishments Act 2010 is granted. Not before. Nothing on this page describes a service running today
Subcontracting
Not subcontracted. The specification is that the person who attends is on the Shuunnya roll, police verified, with the registration checked against the issuing register rather than a photocopy, and references contacted
If something goes wrong
The same matter, twice
A follow-up within 10 days on the same problem carries no second fee. If a plan needs revisiting because of something we got wrong, the revisit is free whenever it happens
If the slot is not honoured
A consultation that does not run for its stated twenty minutes because of us is refunded in full, on request, without an argument
What is not covered
An outcome. No consultation anywhere can promise one, and this listing does not. What is promised is time, attention, a written plan and a reason for every line of it
Records and complaints
Your record is yours, copy on request. A complaint about clinical conduct also has a statutory route, to the State Medical Council on whose register the practitioner sits, and we will give you the registration number you need to use it
