Delicates Wash for Wool, Silk and Handloom

Wool, pashmina, silk, and fine handloom fabrics are permanently damaged by ordinary laundry detergents in two specific chemical ways, and neither is an opinion. Wool keratin and silk fibroin are proteins held together by peptide bonds and delicate hydrogen linkages. Above pH 8.5, alkaline wash water hydrolyses those bonds: the fiber swells, cuticular scales flare open, the lustre goes flat, and the hand goes brittle and scratchy. An ordinary laundry detergent powder sits at pH 10.4 with heavy soda ash. The second is the protease enzyme that mainstream detergents carry, which exists to digest protein food soils and cannot distinguish a curd stain from the silk saree or wool sweater it rests upon. This wash is engineered around avoiding both, and the two load-bearing numbers are printed plainly on the label: measured pH 6.80 as supplied (6.90 in the wash bath), and protease content strictly zero.

• Zero Alkaline Hydrolysis (Measured pH 6.80): Operates at near-neutral pH 6.80 as supplied and 6.90 in the bucket at dose. Eliminates the alkaline fiber swelling and cuticular scale flaring that cause felting shrinkage and brittle snapping in wool and silk.
• Strictly 0.000% Protease Enzymes: Protease digests animal protein fibers, causing irreversible microscopic cuticular erosion and hole formation within 3 to 5 washes. Stated plainly as a verified zero figure rather than an ambiguous claim.
• Plant Glucoside & Amino-Acid Surfactant Engine (10.0% ASM): Triad of Decyl Glucoside 5.0%, Coco-Glucoside 3.0%, and Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate 2.0%. The amino-acid glutamate surfactant biomimetically cushions protein fibers, restoring suppleness without stripping natural lipids. Zero SLS/SLES sulphates, zero LAS petro-chemicals.
• Hard-Water Protection (1.0% Sodium Citrate): Tap water across India contains 200 to 500+ ppm hardness. Food-grade sodium citrate sequesters calcium and magnesium ions without harsh phosphates or EDTA, preventing dull mineral chalkiness and lime-soap encrustation on dark woollens and silk lustre.
• Natural Fiber Conditioning (1.5% Vegetable Glycerin): USP 99.5% plant-derived humectant lubricates fiber shafts, eliminating static cling and winter dryness without synthetic silicones (amodimethicone) or animal-derived lanolin.
• Smooth Dispensing Texture (0.4% Xanthan Gum): Lightly structured with natural food-grade xanthan gum to provide a smooth, honey-like liquid pour (~550 cP) that dispenses cleanly into the cap without watery splashing.
• 100% Fragrance-Free & Hypoallergenic: Zero synthetic perfume, zero masking fragrance, zero essential oils. 0 out of 26 EU declarable allergens. Leaves zero scent residues on raw tussar silk or metallic zari, and guarantees baby-safe hypoallergenic purity for infant clothes.
• Gentle Phenoxyethanol Preservation: Preserved safely with Phenoxyethanol 0.85% + Ethylhexylglycerin 0.05% (pH-independent microbial control meeting ISO 11930 / USP <51> Criterion A). Strictly zero isothiazolinones (no MIT/CMIT/BIT) and zero formaldehyde donors (no DMDM hydantoin).
