A daily, lightweight body lotion built for rough, dry, or tight skin on shins, forearms, elbows, knees, and heels. It moisturises through two mechanisms: urea at 5 percent binds water deep within the stratum corneum, while four plant-derived lipids form a breathable barrier that holds that moisture in place throughout the day.
- Honest water figure: This lotion is 65.45 percent purified water. Instead of hiding that behind pictures of nuts and butters, every ingredient is listed below with its exact percentage.
- Urea active at 5 percent: Urea is a skin-identical Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) that the stratum corneum naturally produces. At 5 percent it hydrates, softens rough patches, and restores barrier function without the flaking or peeling that higher concentrations cause.
- 100 percent silicone-free lipid barrier: Replaces synthetic dimethicone entirely with plant squalane (2.5 percent, olive or sugarcane derived), cold-pressed shea butter (2.5 percent), high-linoleic sunflower seed oil (2.5 percent), and fractionated coconut lipids (5.0 percent). These are skin-compatible oils that absorb without pilling, stickiness, or bioaccumulation.
- Urea stabilised against ammonia drift: Urea hydrolyses into ammonia in unbuffered water, causing off-odours and skin sting. The formula fixes bulk pH at 5.0 with a stoichiometric sodium lactate and lactic acid buffer, neutralising any emerging ammonia into odourless ammonium lactate.
- How to use: Dispense 2 to 4 pumps (4 to 8 ml) and smooth over arms, legs, elbows, or rough patches. For maximum hydration, apply within three minutes of bathing while skin is still slightly damp. Avoid broken or freshly shaved skin as urea stings on open abrasions.
- The right lotion for you: Built for normal to severely dry, rough, or flaky skin. For deeper barrier repair with ceramides, choose the Barrier Repair Balm. For a lighter daily face moisturiser, choose the Everyday Face Cream.
- Packaging: Type III amber glass bottles (200 ml and 400 ml) on a lockable metal-clad lotion pump. Amber glass filters UV light to protect tocopherol and the plant lipids from light degradation. Secondary packaging is an unlaminated white-top kraft carton. The 1 L refill pouch provides 2.5 to 5 bottle refills and saves about 72 percent packaging versus single-use rigid bottles.

What is left out, and what took its place
- Silicones (Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone)
- None. Replaced entirely by four plant lipids: squalane (2.50%), shea butter (2.50%), refined sunflower seed oil (2.50%), and fractionated coconut oil (5.00%). These provide equal water retention and a silky finish without bioaccumulation or pilling
- Mineral oil and petrolatum
- None. Petroleum-derived occlusive oils replaced by the same four plant lipids above, which are biologically compatible with skin sebum
- Parabens
- None. Replaced by the Care house multi-hurdle system: Phenoxyethanol (0.70%), Caprylyl Glycol (0.40%), Sodium Benzoate (0.30%), Ethylhexylglycerin (0.10%), and Sodium Phytate (0.10%)
- Potassium Sorbate
- Deliberately removed. Potassium sorbate oxidises in the presence of unsaturated lipids (squalane, sunflower oil) and causes yellow-brown bottle discolouration within 24 months. The multi-hurdle system above is both more effective and colour-stable
- Isothiazolinones (MIT, CMIT)
- None. Swapping to sensitising isothiazolinone preservatives is an industry shortcut we reject; they are documented skin sensitisers at any use level in leave-on products
- Fragrance and essential oils
- None. No artificial parfum, no masking fragrance, and no essential oils. The faint natural aroma is from shea butter and the plant lipids only. Screened for all 26 declarable fragrance allergens: not detected
- PEGs and synthetic emulsifiers

- Ingredient safety and limits (IS 4707)
- Every ingredient complies with Indian Standards IS 4707 Part 2 and Part 3 (2025). All 20 raw materials are clear of all prohibited substances in Annex A. Preservatives sit well below statutory limits: Phenoxyethanol at 0.70 percent (vs 1.0 percent legal cap) and Sodium Benzoate at 0.30 percent (vs 2.5 percent limit). No parabens, no isothiazolinones, no formaldehyde releasers.
- Microbiological purity (IS 14648)
- Tested to bio-burden thresholds ten times stricter than the Indian Standard IS 14648: total bacteria under 100 CFU per gram (standard allows 1,000) and yeast and mould under 10 CFU per gram (standard allows 100). Zero tolerance for pathogens: E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, and C. albicans confirmed absent in every batch.
- Preservation efficacy (ISO 11930)
- Formulated to pass ISO 11930 Criterion A, the international gold standard for cosmetic preservation. Five-organism challenge test: over 99.9 percent (3-log) reduction in bacteria within 7 days with zero regrowth at Day 28, and active defence against mould spores across 28 days in warm, humid bathrooms.

Formulated with physiological pH 5.0 and skin-identical lipids to yield a Primary Cutaneous Irritation Index under 0.50 (Classified Non-Irritant).
